RATB plans to purchase 500 buses for EUR 134 million
RATB will purchase by the end of June 2009 500 new buses for which it will pay an amount estimated at EUR 134 million. Only companies with an average turnover of minimum EUR 300 million in the last three years are allowed to enter the auction. The buses will be purchased in three stages, 50 units until 31 December 2007, 300 units until 30 November 2008 and 150 units until 30 June 2009. The RATB auto park includes 533 trams, 230 trolleybuses and 930 buses.
